CENTRE OF RESEARCH EXCELLENCE FOR ADVANCED COOPERATIVE SYSTEMS

The Centre of Research Excellence for Advanced Cooperative Systems (ACROSS) is an interdepartmental research centre at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. The centre performs research in cooperative systems related to robotics, networked embedded systems and renewable energy systems. Its establishment and operation is funded by the European FP-7 Capacities "Research Potential" program [285939, FP7-REGPOT-2011-1].

The kick-off meeting of the ACROSS project will take place on the 8th of November, 2011, starting at 8:30 a.m. CET, in the Teleconferencing room at the premises of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing.

The opening word will be given by Prof. Ivan Petrović, ACROSS Coordinator, while the welcome address will be given by Prof. Aleksa Bjeliš, Rector of the University of Zagreb, and Prof. Nedjeljko Perić Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing.

Furthermore, Ms. Nadine Robberecht, Project Officer, will present expectations from the European Commission, after which the agenda will involve review of the work plan for the first year and discussions in working groups per Strategic Research Domains. The detailed agenda is available here.
