CENTRE OF RESEARCH EXCELLENCE FOR ADVANCED COOPERATIVE SYSTEMS

The Centre of Research Excellence for Advanced Cooperative Systems (ACROSS) is an interdepartmental research centre at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. The centre performs research in cooperative systems related to robotics, networked embedded systems and renewable energy systems. Its establishment and operation is funded by the European FP-7 Capacities "Research Potential" program [285939, FP7-REGPOT-2011-1].

ACROSS presentation at ARCA 2011

The 9th ARCA 2011 International Innovation Exhibition (http://www.arca.com.hr/en/) was held from 13 to 15 October 2011 at the National University Library in Zagreb. The ARCA Exhibition presented many innovations from Croatia and abroad (more than 100), focusing on innovations coming from the academic sector.

The related 2nd Conference on Innovations Leading to Competitiveness was held on 13 October 2011. The ACROSS project coordinator professor Ivan Petrović gave presentation on the project goals, work plan and innovation potential of the R&D work in the field of the cooperative systems within session Academic education and economy.

Within the same session, WP6 leader professor Vedran Bilas presented expected interaction of the project with the Croatian industry and general public, with focus on building new networks and partnerships in R&D and innovation commercialisation of the cooperative systems.
